The New York State Association of Management Advocates For School Labor Affairs (MASLA) welcomes you to its web site. MASLA is the only association in New York State that is dedicated to advocating management’s position on public sector labor relations issues. Our membership includes Superintendents of Schools, Human Resource Administrators, Attorneys specializing in Education and Labor Relations Law, and Labor Relations Specialists. We have approximately 300 members from all areas of New York State. Members of MASLA are a network of professionals and experts with experience and knowledge in all aspects of negotiations and public sector labor relations. Our annual summer conference is the premier conference on public sector negotiations, Education Law and issues pertaining to school management and labor relations. MASLA's Fall meeting is scheduled for October 17, 2008It will be hosted by Matt Fletcher, Murry Solomon, Brent Cooley and Randy Ray at the Cayuga Onondaga BOCES., located at 1879 West Genesee St., Auburn NY. http://www.cayboces.org/mnd.htm.
The topic of the meeting is: "NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE". The meeting will commence at 10:00a.m.
Those attending will discuss issues being raised at the bargaining tables in their districts and what the salary settlements are. Please bring at least 30 copies of any salary data you wish to share. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss particular issues and get the opinions of members who have experience on such issues.
